Dunfermline started well attacking the deep-end and won the first quarter 6-3, Menzieshill won the second quarter 3-2 leaving Dunfermline with an 8-6
lead at half time. The third quarter was Dunfermline's best winning it 6-1 to go into the final quarter leading 14-7. Although once again losing the quarter 3-2 Dunfermline controlled the game and successfully ran down the clock for the victory. Dunfernmline's man-up set-up worked well throughout and goalkeeper Jake Hinley had some fine saves to prevent Menzieshill getting back into the match. Captain Robert Tate was delighted with the win against a physical Menzieshill side.
