Dunfermline won this league for the first time by defeating Warrender 14-9 in a tense & exciting match held at Glenogle Baths.

Warrender made the best start winning the first quarter 3-0 playing into the deep end. The second quarter saw Dunfermline come storming back through four
goals from Andrew Woodall and one from Robert Tate to reach the half way stage ahead by 5-4.Defending the deep-end again in the third quarter Dunfermline improved from their first quarter performance to tie the quarter 2-2 through goals from Andrew Woodall & Darren Campbell leaving Dunfermline still ahead 7-6 going into the final quarter attacking the deep end.

With Warrender tiring the Dunfermline team cut loose to win the final quarter 7-3 through three goals from Andrew Woodall and two goals each from
Robert Tate & Darren Campbell.

Captain Jamie Hinley was delighted with the effort of the whole team and in particular the success of the 'man-up' situations where only one was missed.

The result has given the team confidence as they seek to add the National League and Scottish Cup titles over the next few weeks.
