Scottish National League Play-offs - Tollcross Centre 9 June 2007

Under 15 League play-off (1992+) :-

Dunfermline 14 Warrender 27 (4-2; 4-6; 5-9 & 1-10)
Christopher Campbell missed this game due to an injured wrist. Dunfermlinecgot off to a good start but were unable to sustain it struggling to create chances throughout the match and many of those they did create were missed. The main players were withdrawn during the final quarter in view of the forthcoming u/17 final which allowed Warrender to move further ahead scoring 6 goals in the final four minutes without reply. A disappointing performance against a weakened Warrender side which highlights the effort that all the squad players need to put into training although we should remember that the age of our players ranged from 1993 to 1995.
Team - Jake Hinley, Edward Haroun, Nicola Tate, Kerry Falconer, Zach Thomson, Craig Wilkinson, Alexander Johnstone, Jordan Wood, Joe Thomson, Andrew Melville, Darren Campbell, Greg James-Rae & Calum Ironside
Scorers - Zach Thomson 5, Darren Campbell 4, Craig Wilkinson 3, Jordan Wood & Joe Thomson

Under 17 League play-off (boys 1990+ / Girls 1989+) :-
Dunfermline
12 Menzieshill 8 (4-0, 4-5, 1-, 3-2)
This was a well controlled performance against the holders and a team we have not beaten at this age.
With Christopher Campbell's wrist having responded to ice packs he started the match which saw us move into a four goal lead after the first quarter. This allowed us to rotate players and keep them relatively fresh. The gap was never reduced to less than three goals as we lifted the trophy for the first time.
Robert Tate led from the front with five goals whilst Andrew Woodall was used more defensively than usual and worked hard to limit the scoring opportunities of their main players.
Team - Jake Hinley, Robert Tate, Alison Pettigrew, Jamie Hinley, Zach Thomson, Toni Bonnar, Christopher Campbell, Jordan Wood, Andrew Woodall, Alana Duncan, Darren Campbell, Andrew Melville & Alexander Johnstone.
Scorers - Robert Tate 5, Christopher Campbell 3, Andrew Woodall 2, Darren Campbell & Zach Thomson

Ladies League play-off :-
Dunfermline 5 Menzieshill 13 (1-4, 1-4, 2-2 & 1-3)
This was actually a good performance by the girls against much more experienced players and a difference of eight goals represents an improvement on previous matches between the teams.
Top player Julia Mackay was playing for her English club Harrogate against Penguin in the ASA Championship and therefore missing. Dunfermline, whilst playing well defensively with excellent saves by Chantal, struggled to create scoring chances throughout the match. This competition has seen the rebirth of the Dunfermline Ladies team and a recruitment drive is under way headed by Jamie Hinley & Alana Duncan to increase numbers.
Team - Chantal Guillot, Nicola Tate, Jamie Hinley, Lucy McGregor, Alison Pettigrew, Toni Bonnar, Kerry Falconer, Gael Logan & Alana Duncan.
Scorers - Lucy McGregor 2, Jamie Hinley, Alison Pettigrew & Gael Logan
