Message: I've got mixed feelings on this. Great that we are having an international competition (or any competition) in Scotland. On the negative side the NSA is not the best to show off the sport to the public. Fine as far as the playing area goes but the spectator space is very small and when you take into account all the teams, officials, volunteers and VIPs there's not going to be much left. I know Brian Greenyer and co. ran a very good event a few years ago but, from memory, many fewer teams. I take it cost and availability ruled out better venues for showcasing the event. I do wish the event every success but wish it could have been somewhere else. Anybody any idea of the projected available spectator number? Replies to this post
