Entry was pretty good. In the end there were seven teams competing; Woodmill, Queen Anne, St Columba's/Inverkeithing, Menzieshill, Heriot's (Edinburgh), Holy Name (Hamilton) & St Margaret's (Livingston). St Margaret's; Andrew Melville's School; was the only team from an area which doesn't currently have a SASA water polo club. I spoke to Andrew on Sunday and he hopes to turn water polo into a more regular occurrence over the coming year, so hopefully something can grow out of this. All in all I think the competition was a great success and a really enjoyable event for all concerned.
