George Cornet (1877 - 1952) inducted into Scottish Sport Hall of Fame - 12 March 2007

Alasdair Campbell represents George Cornet to receive commemorative trophy from Patricia Ferguson MSP, Scottish Minister for Tourism, Culture & Sport.
Cornet, of Inverness was a double Olympic Gold Medal winner, in 1908 and 1912, the only Scot in the Great Britain team.
sportscotland are seeking a descendant of Cornet (originally from Inverness) to take possession of the trophy.
