U15B League – Stirling 9–22 Dunfermline 14 Jun
Sunday 14 Jun U15B SNL fixture against Stirling was a rematch of November’s encounter, where our young Dunfermline side secured a convincing 19–3 victory. With almost a full squad available, the boys started strongly, racing into a 7–0 lead in the opening period thanks to goals from Logan, Maks, Natan and Mikhail.
Solid defensive play combined with an effective attacking display saw Dunfermline add another seven goals before half-time, with Toby leading the way by completing a hat-trick.
The comfortable lead provided an excellent opportunity to give some of our younger and less experienced players valuable game time in a variety of positions. Alex and Arlo both found the scoresheet, showing growing confidence in one-on-one situations with the Stirling goalkeeper. Danny battled hard against much bigger opponents, demonstrating great determination and tenacity, while Ben played a key role at centre back.
Liam responded well when matched up against more experienced Stirling players, and Billy commanded the goal superbly. He produced several controlled saves and distributed the ball effectively, launching numerous counterattacks that led to scoring opportunities and goals.

Squad (goals) 1. Billy, 2. Logan (5), 3. Arlo (1), 4. Toby, (4) 5. Liam, 6. Maks (4), 7. Natan (3), 8. Mikhail (2), 9. Danny, 10. Alex (3), 11. Ben, HC Keith, AC Harry, TM Sam
Overall, it was another strong team performance from our young squad. Well done to all the players. Thanks also to Harry for his assistant coaching duties and to Sam for her excellent work as Team Manager.
The team will look to carry this momentum into tomorrow’s trip north to Dundee, where they face Menzieshill.

Senior Men Match Summary
Sat 6 Jun - Scottish Championships Finals - DWPC v Portobello
We made a very strong start going into an early 3 goal lead but Porty pegged us back with 4 goals in a row to lead by 1 at the period end.
8 goals were shared in the 2nd period with exciting end to end action so Porty led by one at half time.
With us fighting back to 11-10 ahead mid way through the 3rd period the game's pivotal incident occurred when Portobello's Emil Vilin was excluded for violent conduct when under strong defensive pressure which meant we had an extra man 6v5 situation for 4 minutes in which time we scored 4 goals to Porty's 1.
Despite Porty gaining player parity at 6v6 for the remaining 5 minutes, DWPC's stronger squad and intensive pre game preparation paid dividends as we took control of the play, scoring the last 3 goals of the match for a well deserved 17-11 win. Trailing at halftime we had won the 2nd half of the match 10-3.
